The landscape was re-designed to be an extension of the entertainment areas while at the same time preserving privacy.

The living room terrace, with its long banquette and water feature, overlooks the existing swimming pool and rear garden. The banquette and water feature serves not only as guest seating and visual interest, but also accommodates the grade change between house and pool. The organically-shaped pool is compositionally balanced by a mass of lawn bordered by tropical plantings. Below the pool area was a previously un-used area that was developed as a “secret garden” with firepit, spa, dining area, and private seating areas.
