CHALLENGES
With encroaching urbanization and global warming changing the face of residential life, we need thoughtful new approaches that consider comfort, design, and sustainability with equal measure. As social animals, we require human interaction without sacrificing privacy. Cities with dense populations often isolate us even as we are forced together. Car doors, cubicle walls, property gates, and a lack of communal space create unhealthy divisions that restrict our natural socialization. Increased isolation also limits our connection to the environment.

SOLUTIONS
As we benefit from greater exposure to light, space, greenery, and air, so these components lead to greater energy efficiency. Similarly, adaptive reuse minimizes the negative footprint of redevelopment while maximizing available housing options.

OUR RESPONSE
Our multifamily projects have responded to these challenges. Whether serving low-income adults with mental disabilities or providing striking views of the Los Angeles skyline, each incorporates open plans and functional design to redefine the concept of modern living.

PROJECTS
Our multi-family housing projects include 39 West Special Needs Housing, the Quintero Apartments and Santos Plaza.
