We designed this 3,700-square-foot home for a family that spends considerable time outdoors. The living room and outdoor dining patio divides the yard into thirds along the western edge of the property. Inside, walnut and concrete floors step up and down to create spaces within the open plan. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors open up these spaces to the outdoors.
